The Hôtel de Matignon opens its doors to you on the occasion of the European Heritage Days, with this year's theme being "Architectural heritage".
Built at the beginning of the 18th century, in the heart of the Faubourg Saint-Germain, the Hôtel de Matignon has been the official workplace of the various successive heads of government since 1935. In addition to very beautiful reception rooms, it also has the largest private garden in the capital, an exceptional plant heritage that received the eco-garden label in 2022.

European Heritage Days were created to introduce as many people as possible to the extraordinary richness of our heritage through unique events, unusual visits, and special openings. These local events now take place in more than 50 countries around the world, with free admission to public monuments and reduced rates for the vast majority of private establishments participating in the event.
The event showcases the historical heritage of civil and religious monuments, as well as agricultural and industrial heritage, and the skills and know-how associated with them. It is an annual event that became European in 1984.
This year's themes is “Architectural heritage.”

Access to the site is only allowed on presentation of the nominative ticket and an original identity document.(no photograph or photocopy)
The ticket is strictly nominative and cannot be used by an unregistered person.
No on-site registration will be possible.
Disabled access
The "Hôtel de Matignon" is accessible to disabled persons. We propose a personalized assistance with "Action Passeraile" throughout the visit.
Please note
Bulky luggage, objects considered dangerous, helmets, bulky bags and glass bottles are not allowed on the site.
There are no lockers or changing rooms ; there are no park for bicycle, scooter...
The animals are not allowed to come into the site (except guide dogs).
